Alison,

In order to use most of the effects with JAWS and Sonar you should be
running the JSonar scripts from:

www.jsonar.org

These come with something called HotSpotClicker sets (or HSC). The HSC sets
enable you to use the graphical interface of many FX.

The use of these HSC sets is described in the JSonar documentation that
comes with these JAWS scripts.

More on HSC can be found at the HSC web site:

http://hotspotclicker.org/

Also, some FX parameters in Sonar can be controlled from the Track Inspector
Pane (hit "I" to toggle this on and off). In the Track Inspector pane you
can choose to "Show Assignable controls" from the FX. Doing this, some of
the FX parameters will be available to edit manually.

It takes a bit of playing around to get used to it, but it really works
pretty well.

Don't hesitate to ask questions of the very knowledgeable people on this
list, but also don't hesitate to read the extensive JSonar, Sonar, and other
helpful documentation.

Good luck!

Subject: [Jsonar] Using effects.

Hello, List,

I am encountering some difficulties with using effects in Sonar 8.5 producer
with jaws 11. I have had some help from a sighted friend to navigate around
Sonar's effects and I can find them and select the reverb I want, but we
can't find the way to make sonar increase or decrease the amount of reverb
in the mix. It is done with sight using faders which I am guessing is not
the way we do it using keyboard commands.

Please can someone advise me how to do this?

Kind Regards,

Alison Trelfa.
