Things to check for and things to try short of getting better hardware
upgrading to 8.5.3,
cleaning your registry of all cakewalk references and re-installing
correctly
imaging your system,
resetting sonar by hitting control-enter on the icon when starting.
YOu did check obvious things, right, large transport off,
x-ray off,
how about windows 7 theme set to classic

sometimes it doesn't, which leads me to believe that there's a way
to make it work the rest of the time. There's something I must have
accidentally done, plus, sighted people can't even see the insert

*grin*. At least that's the theory. All I know is when I had a
bunch of cloned tracks, the insert send worked, when I didn't, it
didn't. Well, I think I only had two cloned tracks.
