The OSGi RFP 83 [1][2] contains serialization requirements that may also be relevant to this JSR.
For example, perhaps we should consider some implementation of ObjectOutputStream.annotateClass() that writes something like an import declaration, and an implementation of ObjectInputStream.resolveClass() that uses the information to locate the correct class.
