Fix -- only register network interfaces that have an IPv4 or IPv6 address.
... Its still kinda broken and a cursory look at the code shows that it doesn't quite match what the previous code was doing. Is there any reason the previous stuff needed to be overwritten? If it ain't broke...

Apart the hashtable, there is nothing else ... What I can propose is to reintroduce the concepts but in the classpath environment. It's quite simple and I'm sure they will be pleased to improve their implementation. I am going to fix this for the week-end ...
