I can confirm the same thing happening to me. I have two monitors attached plus
an LCD projector as a third display (via an amplituner). Every time I switch
the projector (or the amp) on / off, usually plasma goes bonkers. Any or all of
these might happen:
- the monitors relative layout and/or rotation is changed
- one or more monitors will get the wallpaper changed to "default" or have
black backgroud
- window decorations disappear and/or switching between applications becomes
impossible
- plasma widgets disappear from one of the screens
- a number of other weird/unusual things
I switched to plasma 5 on version 5.12 afair and this issue has been present
ever since (5.18 now). I'm happy to run any tests that could help, but like
jamese I dont have much experience with QT programming.
