Please review the current approach.
The idea is that every distro will have a preferred backend. Hypothetically,
Ubuntu -> snap, Red Hat -> Flatpak, Debian -> PackageKit, etc.
We provide a default setting that both the distro and the user can override.
Upon search we pack them and prefer the user selected if available, otherwise
we will show whatever is available.
>From the application view, the user may change the source too.
