The "problem" seems to be that the "workaround" to avoid the crashes is disabled for Qt 5.13 and higher (also done in https://cgit.kde.org/akregator.git/commit/?id=1ccd68157a1309a2b11f3cece420bb2df6da2e02), but apparently it would still be needed.
