STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start Wayland session
2. connect an external monitor to hdmi port and turn it on
3. set multi-monitor mode to "Unify outputs"
4. disconnect the hdmi cable from hdmi port
5. turn off the external monitor by pressing its physical on/off button
6. reconnect the external monitor to hdmi port
OBSERVED RESULT
kwin_wayland crashes
EXPECTED RESULT
no crash
