The new Kaffeine version is at the KDE upstream tree and was released on Monday. It will take a while until the distributions update it, and, depending on the distribution policies, it may require you to upgrade to a newer version. You may try to open a ticket at the SUSE's bugzilla reporting the issue there, or you may try to compile it yourself from the sources.
