            Bug ID: 431708
Summary: Attempting to draw on scratchpad while holding pen
buttons prevents further drawing on the scratchpad
                    until restarting Krita
           Product: krita
           Version: 4.4.1
          Platform: Appimage
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: General
          Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: tomtomtomreportin...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
At least with my stock Intuos pen, dragging the pen on the scratchpad while
also attempting to utilize canvas inputs by holding any of the pen buttons will
break further drawing functionality of the scratchpad, until Krita is
restarted. For example: if you hold the pan canvas pen button and attempt to
pan the scratchpad, further drawing on the scratchpad is prevented. It also
happens if you hold the pop-up palette pen button while dragging the pen on the
scratchpad.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Brush Settings.
2. Hold a pen button.
3. While holding a pen button, drag pen across the scratchpad.

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens and the scratchpad is no longer usable until Krita is
restarted.

EXPECTED RESULT
It is understandable if the canvas inputs wouldn't work with the scratchpad (as
I understand, it's basically a different sort of canvas), but at the very
least, attempting to use them with the pen shouldn't break the scratchpad.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian sid
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.77.0
Qt Version: 5.12.9 (Appimage)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
No errors will be outputted to the terminal. The scratchpad fill buttons will
still work. This issue seems isolated to the pen buttons, as utilizing the
corresponding canvas inputs with a mouse/keyboard won't break the scratchpad.
The scratchpad will also still work if you hold a pen button and click with the
mouse.
