            Bug ID: 432185
Summary: Unable to adjust subtitle duration
           Product: kdenlive
           Version: 20.12.1
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: User Interface
          Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org
          Reporter: l...@sub-pop.net
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

In 20.12.1, adjusting a subtitle's duration by selecting the right edge and
dragging results in the duration being set to 00:00:00. The subtitle entry can
no longer be adjusted after this happens. Clicking the up arrow in the subtitle
duration value makes the duration get shorter, not longer.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add a subtitle and save it.
2. Adjust its duration either by dragging it in the timeline or editing the
duration value
3.

OBSERVED RESULT

The subtitle duration instantly jumps to zero.

EXPECTED RESULT

The subtitle should slide like any other clip.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE neon user 5.20.5
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.78.0
Qt Version: 5.12.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I tested this with kdenlive 20.21.1 (the deb in neon) and the flatpak on
flathub. Downgrading the deb to 20.12.0 results in the subtitle editing
behaving normally again.
