Yes, I want to switch the xkbmap / keyboard layout, either from the terminal or
programatically (by writing C++ code/etc.) and to the one I desire it to be (=
us+il+compose key) *and* on wayland.

I'd rather not use a gui for that because it will mean i'll have to perform it
time and time again in every new unix user, virtual machine, or new computer.
