If it does not, > the bug is in plasmashell. I've had the same problem right after the installation and the very first update of Fedora 34 KDE. According to this test, the problem was in kwin. Since I have changed the config in ~/.config/kwinrc and reinstalled the kwin package via command "dnf reinstall kwin", I have not experienced the problem any more. My uptime is 10 day now, with a lot of standbys and resumes, changing monitors etc. and still working fine.
