Yes, it bounces for about five seconds, then everything goes out for some while
until it actually starts. I found the setting you mentioned... I didn't know
there was any such setting. I've now set it to 60 seconds, and that seems to
have fixed it. I didn't see an option for the launch feedback to continue
indefinitely until the application started.
Setting back to reported as requested by bug janitor.
