Bug ID: 366548 Summary: monitor configuration disappears when logging out Product: KScreen Version: 1.0.2 Platform: Debian stable OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: common Assignee: se...@kde.org Reporter: thoma...@gmail.com I just installed debian 8 and kde-full on my workstation. I have a dual monitor setup with one VGA monitor attached as well as one HDMI monitor attached. When I do the initial login, only one monitor is enabled inside System Settings > Hardware > Disaplay. I enable the second monitor and set up resolution, etc. It works fine. Next time I start up the machine and login, my settings are gone. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open System Settings > Hardware > Disaplay. 2. Configure dual screens (extended display) 3. Logout 4. Login again Actual Results: Display configuration is gone Expected Results: Display configuration should be saved. If I go to services and disable KScreen2 service, then I can configure the displays manually using "disper" or xrandr. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
