Nothing change with Archlinux Plasma 5.24.5 but for a couple of weeks almost all the windows remember their position but in the case of dolphin after restarting, all the windows have the size of the last one I changed the size of. Also for dolphin it maintains the same ordering system for all folders even if it has "remember the display style for each folder" activated. On the other hand, in the latest updates when you navigate through the directory tree in the top bar of dolphin, it does not keep the folder it comes from selected. I guess these last two points are new dolphin bugs and are not related to the problem of restoring the session.
