            Bug ID: 370279
Summary: Minor: Sending image to Krita from another application
-- cannot close Krita welcome screen.
           Product: krita
           Version: 3.0.1
          Platform: Neon Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: usability
          Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: timber...@gmail.com

Tested sending from gwenview, and spectacle to Krita. When a photo is sent to
work on -- the opening startup screen will become impossible to close. This is
a minor bug as one can open krita, check the box to disable it, and then repeat
the process without error. However, the opening screen is there and in your way
otherwise. Its like that window becomes impossible to gain focus.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open application for handling photos such as Gwenview or Spectable
2. Send photo to Krita in its default configuration with startup screen
showing.
3

Actual Results:
Startup screen ends up impossible to focus on, and thus impossible to close.

Expected Results:
Expected window to be able to gain focus and to be able to close it out.

Neon 5.8 User -- plasma 5.8.0 frameworks 5.26.0 QT 5.7.0, Krita 3.0.1, core i5
2300, B75MD3H board, HD6870 on open source driver, 8GB.

Great application.
