STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Choose a build.log file which is constantly written to and open it with Kate
2. The "Document Modified on Disk" dialog appears constantly and prevents to
enable View -> "Auto Reload Document"
Secondary observation:
After "Auto Reload Document" could finally be enabled with a quick hand, the
"Document Modified on Disk" dialog still keeps popping up and disappearing
each time the document is automatically reloaded.
Didn't try that with any later version than 21.12.3.
