Start a video in a workspace using a method of your choice that uses video hardware acceleration on intel. You should be seeing Video/VideoEnhance being active on intel_gpu_top. I've tested it with mpv, vlc, chromium, Firefox. 2. Change to another workspace 3. Wait for a bit OBSERVED RESULT Video running in the background stops/becomes extremely choppy. EXPECTED RESULT Video playing normally. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Wayland 6.0.4, Endeavour OS (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.4, KDE Frameworks Version: 6.1.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION You can work around the bug by either switching to a tab in the browser that does not play video or in mpv by setting the option hwdec=auto-safe.
