If it were as easy as that. Eliminate all crashes at once. You first need to find and reproduce them ... At the moment fixing crashes and adding features goes hand in hand. And in my opinion it's good that way. Not only because of the reason mentioned above -- that just quickly fixing all errors isn't possible -- but also because a) new features happen to add new bugs and b) you can't just block all kind of development for some time. We aren't full time kdenlive devs. What will help us is the community featuring bug reports in mantis. I've been working with kdenlive since end of January. At this time I've reported the bug report #600. Today we're at over #966. Stability has increased a lot since then. The first video I did was a pain because after every time loading the project I had to re-adjust things. With the current SVN it has started to be fun. Now something else. Does anyone of you know valgrind? Finding memory leaks and so on? Could this help us locating problems? Ah, and please correct me if I'm wrong. It is only my understanding of the situation.
