Well something isn't configured right. I followed the instructions in the link. My laptop resolution is 1280x800. That's what I have configured for my custom profile. When I render that as AVI DV at 16:9 it looks really bad. So bad that you wouldn't want to watch it. The only one that seems to work is flash. I have to render it at 4000 or better.
Aren't there simple instructions to set this up? If this really works there should be simple steps to get it working. Either that or people aren't sure how to get it working... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dan Dennedy" <[email protected]> To: "For kdenlive developers" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, December 22, 2009 6:57:03 AM (GMT-0900) Auto-Detected Subject: Re: [Kdenlive-devel] gtk recordmydesktop On Mon, Dec 21, 2009 at 4:19 PM, Damien Hull <[email protected]> wrote: > If I render the video as Flash 4000k it works. It doesn't fill the screen. small is a bad description - you talking about file size or resolution? "doesn't fill the screen" implies resolution. Then, I question if you are correctly using the custom project setting you created to match your screen capture resolution. Otherwise, "small" and "screen" are ambiguous other than to say you did not get what you expect. > I tried xvid and I got a small video. Again, it doesn't fill the screen. Without having much detail or insight into the problem, sounds like a bad MLT build to me. > I don't understand why other formats don't work.
