I was never really using NVIDIA graphics - on notebook with Intel+NVIDIA I use only the Intel card. Kernel sees the NVIDIA card (BIOS doesn't allow disabling it completely, but it is inactive) and loads nouveau driver (currently 1.0.15), but it is not in real use.
