The button should execute your browser via the default URL handler application.
Is it possible that this got somehow lost during the upgrade? Could you please
try restarting Akonadi from console (akonadictl restart) and try to reproduce
to see if it prints anything interesting in the console output?
What the "Configure" button does should be equivalent to running xdg-open from
command line:
xdg-open "https://www.kde.org";
Can you please check that this command works on your system?
