Summary: 'KWallet not available' when trying to save a password Product: kontact Version: 4.6 beta5 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: leon.n.maurer...@alum.dartmouth.org Version: 4.6 beta5 (using KDE 4.6.2) OS: Linux The login information for my SMTP server didn't seem to get transfered when I upgraded from 4.4.10. When I set it to remember the password I get a message stating that KWallet is not available and I can store the password in a configuration file instead, although this is not recommended. Of course, this is not true; KWallet is very much available -- I can access it through the system tray. Furthermore, I'm pretty sure KWallet already stores the passwords for my IMAP accounts, and Kontact had no problem accessing those.
