Bug ID: 334532 Summary: Importing PGP keys from websites should be easier Classification: Unclassified Product: kleopatra Version: 2.2.0 Platform: MS Windows URL: https://www.isc.org/downloads/software-support-policy/ openpgp-key/ OS: other Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: tlhack...@yahoo.com CC: m...@kde.org It should be possible to import a public key from a website without putting it into a file. This is a pretty common (and recommended) method for key distribution. For example, ISC distributes several PGP keys on https://www.isc.org/downloads/software-support-policy/openpgp-key/ It ought to be possible to copy & paste these into Kleopatra. It isn't. Instead, one has to copy and paste into a file, import, then delete the file. I'd like an 'import from clipboard' option, or a text box to paste these into. Thanks for your consideration. Reproducible: Always -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
