HOW TO - build cross compiler for PowerPC MPC8360

Hi All,

   I would like to build cross compiler on Ubuntu 9.0.4 and have downloaded
the following sources.

   Binutils 2.19
    ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/binutils/binutils-2.19.tar.bz2
   GCC 4.4.0
    ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gcc/gcc-4.4.0/gcc-testsuite-4.4.0.tar.bz2
   Glibc 2.9
    ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/glibc/glibc-2.9.tar.bz2
   Glibc linux threads 2.5
    ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/glibc/glibc-linuxthreads-2.5.tar.bz2

   was wondering if any body could please help/provide some pointers? I am
not sure if this is the right
   alias for this, if not, please forgive me and ignore the email.
