Rick,

Please go back and review the list rules (and it may be that you've never read them. Read ALL of them. You managed to violate quite a few in one simple sentence. Worst of all is resending the entire digest to 800 people, then there's not changing the subject to something pertinent, not explaining what you are responding for, and then there's the inappropriate language, not to mention saying something to the entire list that should have been sent only to the person intended. That post is worth at least two strikes, so consider yourself warned.

Please see LIST RULES and KRnet info at http://www.krnet.org/info.html.

I flew my KR2 airplane for the first time!

I have been doing taxi testing with the tail up. Today I was lifting off
the ground and setting it back down. Then it was "pull the band aid off"
time. I lifted off and did a shallow climb out. On downwind I sped up to
110 mph. I did a long shallow approach on final. At touchdown I would
like to say that it was smooth and pretty, but I logged six landings and
was glad to keep it on the runway. When I cool down, I will do a really
good post flight and maybe try it again.

It wants to go fast. It's maneuverable.

Dear KRneter's,

I am very grateful to you!

Congrats Joe! You are now a member of one of the smallest groups on earth;
Test pilot. I forgot who told me that but it is a badge of honor.
Now that you have gone up, around and successfully back down, I hope you get
through all your own test cards on each successive flight, ever expanding
the envelope and your sense of enjoyment in the wonder you created with your
own hands. Great feeling, huh?
Everyone else, keep building guys!
