KR pilots,

I have been using skyvector and Aopa Wx for many years for planning, when
I get ready to go I add Garmin Pilot and 1800wxbreif.com to the mix which
Garmin Pilot I use in the air. (I'm also Android based.)

https://skyvector.com/?ll=39.351856708346546,-100.15063476068254&chart=301&zoom=8&fpl=%20KBJC%20undefined%20KLXT

Sky Vector provides the following from the list Jeff provided for
navMonster. And I'll add a few which I like in skyvector
> 1. Visual map display of your route showing all the airports along your
> route.
> 2. Current AWOS weather reporting at every airport along your route.
> 3. TAFs at all the major airports near your route.
> 5. Current reported Winds aloft along your route.
> 6. Pireps for your route.
> 8. TFRs for your route.
12. layers on the map for the items listed above 1,5,6,8.
13. detailed airport information (You need to choose)
14. fuel prices on the map
15. maps are based on sectional, IFR (low or high)
16. Airmets on the map view

> Oh yeah. It is absolutely free with a small amount of unobtrusive
> advertising.

For the list of items below I find in AOPA and 1800wxbreif.com (Garmin
pilot does not support them since the demise of DUATS.)

>
> 4. Forecast weather along your route.
> 7. Area Reports.
> 9. Airport delays. (OK, that's kind of useless)
> 10. A listing of all the airports along your route with with elevation,
> longest runway, & fuel availability.
> 11. US prog weather charts.
>

If you have not heard of these on-line tools, please take a look. I have
been happy with my experience planning flight on-line. Please stay
informed when planning and flying.

Thanks Jeff, I'll be adding navMonster to my flight planning.
