install some packages with kpackagekit.
while installing (downloading window, see screenshot etc), hit the "details"
button twice.
EDIT: launchpad somehow swallowed my detailed description:
after the second time you hit the button, the window should collapse
after the terminal vanishes, but it stays in it's expanded size.
