it never open a new window to log in, it also doesnt work if I am already logged in via the kde settings. I am wondering if it might be related to me changing desktop environments? I originally installed Ubuntu with gnome and later switched to KDE Plasma. If there is any kind of verbose output or logs I can check for this plugin that might help narrow down the issue but the system logs dont show anything.
