Status of VMI support in L4

Hello,

I'm trying to run Linux on top of L4. There are quite a few projects off 
the shelf, including L4Linux, OKL4 + Poly-Linux, and L4+VMI+Linux (the 
pre-virtualization project).

It seems to me that the pre-virtualization is really cool. I'm wondering 
the status of the project. Is it possible to run a Linux on top of it 
out of the box?

And I really appreciate if anybody could tell me which solution would be 
the best to run Linux on top of L4.
