I have one that was installed around our 8 acres. It contains my 7 dogs
perfectly. The only time I may have an issue is if I don't pay attention and
the battery dies in one of the collars and that dog figures out its not
working. I have 2 that can test this at times. I had to take the warning beep
off all the collars so even with a power failure or battery failure they think
its still on.

I have all 7 collars set on different levels as well. My most serious escape
artist is a German short hair pointer who is now 10yo. In her youth she would
hunt every day and I didn't realize what she hunted was CATS, she killed at
least 10 of them before I knew any of this. SO the only safe and humane way I
found to contain her was an underground electric fence, so she can still run
and play and hunt in our woods just not leave the property. Better than a
cage, dog run, kennel etc etc.......her collar is set on the highest level
though because she will test it.......my doodles are all on about 3-5, she is
on 10 with 10 corrections.......

Yes, other dogs can come in but I have 2 males here and I get NO outside boys
visiting my girls at all anymore.......;)

I have about a mile of road frontage and all my dogs will run, escort, bark
at joggers dogs biker going down the road. Everyone here knows they won't get
out so its pretty funny.

this fence is great, you MUST be mindful not to make the collar too tight so
they do not make sore in their neck. They have longer prongs for thicker
coated dogs as well......You MUST remember to remove it if taking the dog off
your property.......

  fondly,

Hi- We don't have our dog in an electric fence, for all the reasons
stated by others ahead of me. However, our neighbor has 3 labradors and
installed the system on their property from the L.L. Bean catalog. It works
extremely well, we walk by many times every day and they all stay put! It
operates with an eye so you can adjust the radius of coverage. Good luck! Mimi
