<<Hello Lacers,
we have just received the invitation to the next year Tonder Lace Festival.
Among the workshops there is one named "3-pair Flanders" with Rosita
D'Ercoli. Can anyone tell us what this is?
Does anyone know of pictures on the net or of books with this kind of lace?
I mean, Flanders with three pairs, it sounds like an impossibility.
It is supposed to be a kind of tape-lace, as far as we know, but we have not
been able to find any information about it.
Best wishes from a windy and rainy Denmark

Hello Arne & Aage
A week or so ago, I received the latest edition of Lace Express No. 2/03 and
it contains a very nice pattern in 3 pair Flanders Stitch, designed by
Michela Zongher from Italy. There is also a whole page of diagrams
explaining how to tackle it and some close-up photographs. It looks as
though it would be fun to do, although peronally I would omit the orange
flowers on the corners.
Does anyone know if it is related to Ragusa Lace, which is also a kind of
pinless braid.
