I can imagine our lace collectors having a fainting spell reading these letters. <g> I guess I will stick with the Moravian starch I use for ornaments which does make thread really stiff but I have not tried it on metallic thread yet. I was also surprised about Galerie Vlasta closing when lacemakers were around, maybe she knew that we would look at the prices and decide we could try and make them for ourselves! Janice
