Don't store them - use them!

As I said "I know what some of you will say - that bobbins are to be used - and I would
agree to a point. I have a very large collection of valuable old bobbins
many of which I do use but there are others too precious (or delicate) to
work."

Tell me how I justify using a Haskins bone gingle bobbin which is a hundred and fifty years old!! We store our old lace with great care but expect to use the old tools inspite of their age without a thought.

Diana seeking constructive advice!
