I love Brigitte Bellon's christmas lace books, like Allerlei Geklöppelter Christbaum-schmuck, Geklöppelter Weihnachtsschmuck, or Neue Weihnachts- Klöppelmuster. As you might guess, the instructions are in German, but I find the detailed pictures, patterns and a bit of Googling sufficient to work them out! They have some interesting techniques in them.
