I sense that part of the problem with the cursive writing is that in cases
like a lower case “e” you might have to use gimp loops and other
sophisticated techniques in order to accommodate the back and forth that a
pencil makes so easily. Would it be impertinent of me to suggest that this is
a perfect opportunity to do what the practical lacemakers of old would do,
that is, to take to the needle for the writing? Traditionally, lacemakers did
not feel they had to execute maneuvers with the tools least suited to
accomplishing the task. I think this is a case where embroidering on hand made
torchon net should be considered.
