Hello all,

Currently The Lace Guild has a number of lace collars and cuffs for sale,
donated by the estate of one of our volunteers, Pauline (who was
affectionately known as Auntie Wainwright for her marvellous efforts
running the second hand stall at Convention). These are predominately Beds
but there are a few Maltese as well

The collars and cuffs have been on their travels to Camarinas, Krakovany
and Dorset but will be back at The Hollies from mid-July. Please see the
website ( laceguild.org ) for opening times and how to find us.

The Hollies always has other items of lace and lace equipment for sale,
pre-loved items which have been donated, as well as new stock and you will
also be able to see the latest exhibition in the exhibition room while you
are there.

As an aside while you are at The Hollies it is worth popping up the road to
the Red House Glass Cone (about a quarter of a mile away) to see the glass
display, including what looks like a pair of billowing lace curtains which
are made of glass.

Clare (in sunny, rainy, sunny, rainy, sunny, rainy and very windy
Portsmouth)
