I so enjoyed reading that speech. The Hon. Richard Mcgarvie sounds like a very human person with a great sense of humour as well as appreciation of the lace exhibition. Cousin Dick (as we called him) was a hoot. Sadly he died in 2003 from Motor Neurone Disease. I wish I had seen the exhibition. Are there any pictures on the net for us to see?
