This is a very good point you made. I know of an engineer here who has been
trying to install the new site licence LV 7.1 PDS on Windoze but he failed.
In the first run he was unable to reboot his machine after the installation
and at the second attempt LV 7.1 seems to behave very unstable. He is
blaming LabVIEW for this as I am blaming the OS. The possibility of having
screwed up installation CDs sheds a different light on this pending issue.

This is of course an extremely bad ad. Many university people who are now
fond of all the Linux tools and applications are looking increasingly
sceptical at huge commercial packages, specially if they seem to be
unstable under a propriety OS.

Anyway I will inform the person so he can investigate along this path.
