Ver 1.09 has still not a month :-)

Fear not! Photoshop 7 is capable of READ ver 4 profiles, but AFAIK
it doesn't produce such profiles. I still have not seen any of these.
Plea note that embedding ver 4 profiles would mean:

- being incompatible with windows ICM
- being incompatible with Mac ColorSync
- being incompatible with KCMS or any other CMM but Adobe ACE.

So, I doubt ver 4 got widespread acceptance, at least in a couple
of years. The next lcms revision will accept ver 4 profiles, but this
probably  means a major revision (lcms 2.0?) and more probably
some slight  incompatibilities. Ver 4 has some fatal flaws, like
different Lab PCS encoding that makes it error prone. Don't expect
this in less that 6 months...  perhaps more. But as said this is not so terrible.
