I read about lcms 1.15 ability to take in CGATS text file and have
tried to use icctrans utility for testing. My intention is to
transform data in CGATS text file into CMY icc profile (yes CMY, not
CMYK). I have to admit I am not well verse with CGATS or similar
standards, so treat me like a newbie. When I try on my Mac , the
message displayed as the following,
$ icctrans -v ~/Desktop/CGATS\ Data.txt
little cms ColorSpace conversion calculator - v2.0
From: sRGB built-in - (lcms internal)
Desc: sRGB built-in
To : sRGB built-in - (lcms internal)
Field 'RGB_R' not found
I suppose the CGATS text file does not contain any RGB data, although
it have Lab, CMYK and spectral data. So here are my questions,
1) Is it possible to use icctrans to transform CGATS into CMY icc
profile ?
2) If not, it is possible to use lcms to do such transformation ?
What are the functions involve ?
Thanks in advance.
Peter.
