I've had a chance to try Firewall Builder (http://www.fwbuilder.org)
and it seems very nice. It's a very popular download at Freshmeat,
apparently - but it only works for IPtables and IPFilter. You've got
to try it...

Has anyone heard of the recent flap with IPFilter and OpenBSD?
OpenBSD, apparently, is sort of the Debian of the BSD world: nothing
that goes into the base distribution can have a restrictive license.
All must allow unrestricted modification. They have problems with the
GPL, too, as it does not allow unrestricted use (including commercial
use).

Thus when the author of IPFilter changed its license such that only he
could release modified versions, OpenBSD dropped ipf and went with pf.

They then went back and re-examined licenses, and found other
restrictive licenses, but worked through them - including tcpdump and
tcpwrappers.

I would think that djbtools et al fall afoul of the OpenBSD license
policy.
