I'm aiming to have a working Debian UML suitable to compile kernels, hence with recent gcc.
Starting from the Debian/slink filesystem described in http://leaf.sourceforge.net/devel/jnilo/uml03.html I created a much larger one (with the same contert) and tried to compile gcc3.1 tarball, getting the following error: uml_link:~/objdir/gcc# make (cd intl && make all) make[1]: Entering directory `/root/objdir/gcc/intl' make[1]: Nothing to be done for `all'. make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/objdir/gcc/intl' ./genattrtab ../../srcdir/gcc/config/i386/i386.md > tmp-attrtab.c make: *** [s-attrtab] Error 143 I wonder if anyone faced the same problem and managed to go further. (Please note that ../../srcdir/gcc/config/i386/i386.md does not exist!) Thanks for any help.
