I successfully ran hostapd with other environment built on gcc-3.3.3 (~month ago) with kernel+modules that was built by gcc-4.3.2 (built by hand) - and it works OK. > Does anyone know if it is just hostapd which uses libnl (apart from kismet)? > No, there is at least one other package that uses libnl - one of packages that I updated during last month. I can't mention it's name now, but you can look into sources.cfg for dependencies.
