That's the boot part; there is second one after package installation for the 
remaining stuff.

Ok; but then pppoe ist in moddb.lrp but does not autoload

Hmm. yes - it was one of the "helper scripts", which hasn't been used as 
widely as possible. If hwdetect works as outlined, it may be replaced.
