Ed: After looking at the site, new.familysearch.org, you cannot use their site unless you are a member of the church and have a membership record number.
So, I would guess, for the majority of Legacy users, the integration / tie to the NewFamilySearch.org is of no interest - we cannot access it if it is available within Legacy. You can access the Pilot.familysearch.org site and create a search string within Legacy that will provide lookups for you. Good luck.
