I had a lot of trouble with the missing "install file" after a disastrous
system restore and found reinstalling legacy would not work.
I had to shift my family files to another drive, manually delete all
vestiges of legacy from C: drive, download a new version of legacy7 to the
desktop and install from there. It was also a good reason to move from
dialup to broadband!

I just finished downloading Legacy 7 and tried to uninstall from the
Add/Remove program in the control panel. It still will not uninstall. It
says exactly the same thing. "Could not find Install.log file."

Phil,

The copy of a copy of a copy can happen on any file not only Legacy, it
happens when selecting a number a files and one is not quite steady on the
ctrl/shift keys and the mouse.

If you innstall a new copy of Legacy over your existing one you should then
be able to uninstall.
