With respect, whilst I agree with your comments on Norton, reformatting your 
drive is not the only way to go. I got rid of all the left behinds by going 
into the Register and deleting everything related to the program. 

I do not recommend doing this if you do not know what you are doing and 
creating a Restore Point first is essential.
