Do you mean finding someone in the name list? If so, as soon as you type the first letter of the surname the focus should jump to the first person in the list whose surname begins with that letter. As you continue to type, the focus moves down to the first matching name again. When you've typed the full name you need to type a comma, a space, then start on the forename. Again, the cursor should keep jumping down the list . Is this not happening for you? It works fine for me.
